A goal of mine for this year is to read at least one book a month (so far I've read two.) My favorite genre includes mystery, suspense, psychological thrillers and anything true crime; to the point that someone told me recently I needed to expand my horizons and "chill with the serial killer shyt" so before I "expand my horizons", I want to share with you a small list of the books I loved reading these past six months. If you have any recommendations on what I should read next, please share them with me. Leave a comment, shoot me an email, or DM if you follow me on IG.

+ The Woman in the Window - This was my most recent book and I couldn't put it down. There was so much going on and it was such a great read. The book is about Dr. Ana Fox, who suffers from agoraphobia and therefore cannot leave her house. She spends most of her days drinking and "spying" on her neighbors through her window. One day she witnesses something she should have never seen and the story takes a turn from there.

+ The Ghostwriter - This book also had me up at night thinking what was going to happen next. The story follows Helena Ross, who's a New York Times bestseller author with a terminal illness and only three months left to live. During her last couple months, she wants to write a book to share with everyone what really happened to her family, but due to her illness she can't. She hires a ghostwriter to tell her story. Although it is somewhat predictable what happened to her family, you're taken aback by the series of events and the truth behind it all.

+ An Anonymous Girl - This story follows a young girl who decides to become part of a psychological study thinking it be easy money however; she finds herself in a mess when the Dr. starts manipulating her and asking her to do personal favors for her. It was a page turner and one of the first books I read by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.

+ You Are Not Alone - This book is also by the same authors as "An Anonymous Girl." The books starts off when a woman named Shay witnesses someone commit suicide in NYC. The story then unravels as the young woman meets the Moore sisters and begins becoming super close to them. Such a great read and definitely keeps you guessing up until the last page!
