Why you should get a lash lift & tint instead of lash extensions

About two years ago I started getting lash lifts at Glo Beauty & Esthetics and it seriously changed my lash game forever. I have extremely long and straight eyelashes so getting ready in the morning definitely takes me an extra couple minutes curling, combing and adding mascara - it's a struggle! After I got my first lash lift, I was instantly hooked. I woke up looking like I was wearing mascara without having any makeup on. It was amazing!

So by now you're probably wondering, what the heck is a lash lift & tint and why are you so obsessed with it?! So, let's dive in!

What is a lash lift & tint?

Just like the name says, a lash lift is the process of lifting your lashes from the base to give you the appearance of longer lashes. In short, it is the "perming" of your natural eyelashes using rods and solution to lift the lashes from the root and give you a natural, eye-opening curl. A technician will also color your lashes (tint) in the process, which will then result in thicker and darker looking lashes without the mascara and makeup. The whole process takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and it lasts about 6-8 weeks.

What makes a lash lift better than lash extensions?

Personally price & maintenance. Lash lifts typically range from $100-$150 and there is no maintenance required, besides not getting your lashes wet 24-48 hours after the process and brushing them in the mornings. This already is a money saver as lash extensions require you to get refills every 2-3 weeks which cost about $80-$90 every time you get a refill. Your girl is on a budget and has no time to shyt out that much for a refill every couple of weeks. #sorrynotsorry
