Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love and friendship, therefore you don't have to be in a relationship to celebrate it or go out! You could ask a girlfriend to dinner or maybe breakfast. Treat your coworker to lunch or just bring donuts into the office - who doesn't love sweets! In case you forgot, Valentine's Day is this Friday. Here's a gift guide of small things you can get your significant other, yourself or even your girlfriends.

Wine

You can never go wrong with a bottle of wine for any occasion. Trader Joe's has a nice selection of wine and they are priced very reasonably. A few of my favorites are La Sonriente Garnacha and Trader Joe's Grower's Reserve Merlot.

Candles

Candles set the mood and are both relaxing and romantic. I love a good candle and will always have one lit in my room and around the house. An all time favorite of mine is the KUSH - Boy Smells candle (second picture above. Couldn't link picture so its linked here). The smells delicious and as soon as you light it, the aroma starts filling up the room. I have also found some really good candles from T.J. Maxx as well as Target and Marshalls.

Jewelry

I don't think anyone will turn down a personalized piece of jewelry. Gldn has some of the most beautiful, handmade dainty pieces. I love buying my jewelry from them as they are reasonably priced and their jewelry never disappoints me. They also give back to charities such as the Global Fund for Women, ASL, and National Immigration Law Center. If you use my referral link you'll get $10 off your first purchase.

Lingerie

I love me some lingerie. They make you feel super sexy and should be a must in your closet. Target has some nice pieces at such affordable prices. The other day I picked up a pair of lace undies and a lace bra and it cost me under $50 for the set. It's so beautiful, soft and super comfortable. This gift would be perfect for yourself or a significant other. This set from Target is so beautiful and chic!

Books

I'm a bookworm and a good book is always a great gift! It's something simple and super cheap. Cookbooks are great too if your significant other or friend loves a good recipe.

Plants

The most common gifts on Valentine's Day are flowers and chocolates. Gifting a plant is something unique. Plants typically last longer than roses or flowers since you can plant them. I love plants and have them all over my room and home. I like the look of my plants in water so most of them don't have soil. They're super easy to take care of and they last years. The Sill has so many beautiful plants for a great price and they also deliver right to your door.

What are some of your favorite gifts to give on Valentine's Day?

Ingrith
