An open letter to all the mothers in my life

Dear friend, aunt, grandma, sister, cousin, MOM -

I admire you, for your strength. I admire you for your selflessness. I admire you for how caring you are. I admire you for how strong you are. You inspire me every day to be kinder, patient, more loving, and less selfish.

Today I want to thank you for being a part of my life and for being such an amazing human. I want to thank you for all the advice you've ever given me, for lending a shoulder to cry on, for always laughing at me and with me, and obviously for making the time to have a girls night or a quick chat or even just a quick bite. I want you to know that I appreciate you and love you.

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful, smart, strong, caring woman in my life.
